Yesterday was Damon's first birthday. He had lots of fun at daycare and at home.

Here are the photos we took at daycare as he his cupcake. After he was finished with his, he then stole the one from his neighbor as she was eating slowly.

Then last night, we had some friends over and served Damon's favorite foods: Peas, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, bread, and most importantly, watermelon. He then had a slice of carrot cake, which was destroyed in much the same fashion as the cupcake.

Not a bad first birthday. Two parties down, two to go. After all, you only turn 1 four times.

Damon's birthday is approaching and some folks have asked for gift ideas for him. So, here's his list. (He tried to get an iPod on the list, but we had to say no.)

Clothing:

He's currently growing out of his 12 month old sized clothing and into his 18 month sized items. He looks good in bright colors. T-Shorts and Shorts aren't a bad idea as summer is approaching.
