So Ordered

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that from this day the minor shall, to all legal intents and purposes, be the child of the petitioners and, for the purpose of inheritance and all other legal incidents and consequences, the same as if born to them in wedlock;

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the name of the child be, and is DAMON CHRISTOPHER HENRY.
Well folks, that's it. The adoption is 100% complete. We got a copy of the final court order in the mail today finally and officially finalizing Damon's adoption. Now all we gotta do is raise the baby. Something tells me that will be the more difficult of the two.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Chicago Bound!

We spoke with Sirlina tonight, and we're heading to Chicago to visit with her and to go to her ultrasound appointment. The appointment is on Oct. 24 and we'll be flying out the day before and hopefully meeting her and her son for dinner, then staying through Saturday afternoon and getting to know them. We're obviously looking forward to it quite a lot.
